How it Works
The File Connector indexes files uploaded directly by users. It currently supports the following file types:.txt, .pdf, .docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .csv, .md, .mdx, .conf, .log, .json, .tsv, .xml, .yml, .yaml, .eml, and .epub. You can also upload a .zip archive containing these file types any unsupported file types within the zip will simply be ignored.
Setting Up
Authorization
- No external authentication is required.
- Admins can upload files and make them available to all users.
Indexing
- Open the File Connector Go to the Admin Panel and select the File Connector.
- Upload Your File
Select a supported file or a
.ziparchive and click Upload to begin indexing your content in ASSIST AI.
