The web search action allows your Agents to search the internet and pull real-time information from online sources.

Web Search in ASSIST AI

  1. Go to the Web Search Dashboard Click your user profile icon, open the Admin Panel, and select the Web Search tab in the sidebar.
  2. Set Up a Web Search Provider We currently support the following web search providers: Exa AI, Serper, and Google PSE
  3. Set Up a Web Crawler We currently support two web crawlers: the ASSIST AI Web Crawler and Firecrawl.
  4. Set a Default Provider If you have multiple search engine or web crawler providers configured, make sure to designate one as the default by selecting Set as Default. This can be updated at any time.
    Don’t forget to ensure your Agent has the Web Search Action enabled!
